One evening over a cup of tea we were talking with our friends, Ralph and Helen, about the fun we were having creating our web site. Irma was telling them how we go about putting together a concept for a new page we were considering.

“Our daughter spent three weeks in Australia recently. She told an Australian friend about Whistler-Outdoors as he was planning to come to British Columbia to ski, not at Whistler but at Big White in Kelowna. After her return home she told us we should do a few pages on other ski mountains as well.”

Helen said “ you two have literally written a book on the whole Whistler outdoor thing, why not put that knowledge to use by helping people who have no idea of where to go or what to do or how to get around?”

Irma said “but that’s the purpose of our site, Helen, that’s what we are doing.”

"I think what Helen is saying Irma, is that you and Joe should find a good, reliable custom tour company with all of the connections with top quality service providers and offer to help people who come to your web site to plan their trip.”

“I get your point now Ralph” I said, “we could ask people who are contemplating a trip to BC what they want to do and using our knowledge of everything there is to do here, we help the tour company arrange it all.”

Irma said “we know how long it takes to get from one place to another. You can’t just say let’s stay in a Whistler hotel but for a day trip we will head up to Kelowna and ski this afternoon. Everything here is far apart.”

And so the conversation went. We did a survey of Custom Tour Operators, met with many and narrowed it down to the best one. We met with their Marketing Agent outlining what we wanted. Talked with other clients of theirs to determine their satisfaction, and here we are.

Now we are all set to Plan Your Trip with your input.
